Avanced booking
Gonzalo Mora
We need an Advanced Booking function similar to or approximating the AMELIA plugin for WordPress. Right now, we can include a calendar for a client to make a reservation for a service, but it's too basic. At a minimum, Goodbarber should integrate several more add-ons to this service booking calendar:
Connect the reservation made by the client to a payment platform. That is, we should be able to configure the possibility of offering different services at different prices. Once the client goes to book that service on the calendar, it should automatically confirm the reservation and take them to the payment gateway to pay.
This booking system should allow the configuration of different services, with their durations and prices so that the extension can populate the calendar based on the time required for the service booked by clients.
It should also be capable of allowing the registration of one or multiple service providers (for example, in a physiotherapy clinic, four professionals may be working, and each one should be assignable to specific services that clients can schedule with them).
I believe with these parameters, we could cater to many businesses that offer services rather than products (physiotherapy clinics, massages, hair salons, beauty salons, etc.), as clients could enter the calendar and select either the professional they want to be attended by or the service they need and then proceed to the calendar to see available slots for booking.
Currently, the booking extension we have is so basic (even without the ability for the client to pay for the reservation) that we can offer very little to these types of businesses.
Best regards.

Hope this gets revisited

That's a great idea; in fact I didn't know Amelia plugin but I think it's something similar to the BOOKSY plugin. It's a complete way to book a service. That should be great to improve GoodBarber! Thanks
