Individual notifications needed asap

We are a school and in many occasions we have to send individual notifications to the parents. Is there a way to send individual notifications without having to create a new group and add the user. This very time consuming if you have many individual notifications every day. Thank you.

Current this is how I have been doing it, I set up a group called "individual user" and then when I need to send a particular user a message I go in and add them to that group, send that message. Later I go back and take them out of it. So far its the best way I have been able to do it.

It could be as simple as adding the email of the user in the Send notifications section instead of a group.
